Full time Auto Salvage Worker Needed for Vehicle Processing area. Must be able to work outside in all weather. Job duties include: Vehicle processing, breaking down tires, processing mowers, setting vehicles weekly and yard clean up. Duties may change as needed. Opportunity for Fork Lift Certification!
Basic Knowledge of car parts and customer service skills preferred. Must have willingness to learn, ability to walk/stand and lift up to 40lbs.
This position will require some Saturdays.

Dispatcher/Logistics Specialist 
The dispatcher/logistics specialist is responsible for all facets of the operations of a truck weighing process.
The duties include, but are not limited to, weighing trucks, collecting and reviewing manifests, recording all information in a computerized weighing system, running reports, and filing.
The reporting and filing systems are primarily computerized.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions.
  • Inspect paperwork and loads for inbound and outbound trucks. Enter all information into the computer.
  • Maintain order and housekeeping of scales and scale house.
  • Complete daily reports, maintain logs, spreadsheets and other reports, as assigned.
  • Answer incoming calls to dispatch department
  • Communicate with drivers and clients by email and telephone
  • Update dispatch trip schedule
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers and trucks based on workload
  • Assigns drivers daily work schedules and verify employee time sheets.
  • Compiles and completes weekly public transportation schedules.
  • Documents information from drivers on dispatcher log.
  • Plan and project routes based on supply needs; monitors routes for efficiency and ensures coordination of trips
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge and experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
  • Communication skills to be able to deal with a wide range of customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner and to follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Client Service oriented.
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to receive and fill transportation requests in an orderly and cost-effective manner with minimal assistance.

  • Ability to maintain computerized records and databases in an orderly fashion and to compile data from such records for the generation of reports.

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • Preferred experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
  • Four years of experience in Dispatch/Logistics This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 pm) and may include some weekend work.
